I sometimes have the feeling two conceptions of womanhood oppose each other in our times. The independent flowery, elegant, rich and successful women and the calm, faithful, resigned family women. The latter does not exactly correspond to the conservative “trad-wife” stereotype. he seems to be a low key version, hesitating between two infernal conventions or just peacefully making her way in the mist.
